Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that food is delivered promptly, accurately, and with a friendly attitude. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent guest service will contribute to the smooth operation of our restaurant or hotel dining services. Responsibilities Deliver hot and cold dishes from the kitchen to guests' tables efficiently and accurately, maintaining food quality and presentation standards. Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and ensuring guest needs are met promptly. Handle food preparation tasks such as plating or garnishing under the guidance of culinary staff when needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area, including clearing plates and resetting tables for new guests. Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences in both restaurant and banquet settings. Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience with banquet service, bussing, or catering is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to use steps.
