Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and service. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables efficiently. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Maintain cleanliness in service areas, adhere to sanitation protocols, and follow proper food safety procedures. Skills Proven experience in fast paced food service or restaurant environments Strong knowledge of POS systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and check splitting. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques. Experience with serving in high-volume environments is advantageous. Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and team members.
