Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Great guests and guide them through their dining experience by making tailored menu recommendations and cocktail/wine pairings.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
• Clear, crumb, and re-mark table in between courses
• Execute perfect wine service and have a working wine knowledge (training will be provided but previous experience and prior knowledge is a plus)
• Handle cash and credit card transactions
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a seamless positive experience
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server or captain in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant
• Knowledge of basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
• Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and grace
