Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Assist hosts with seating arrangements and managing reservations to optimize guest flow Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met Clear and reset tables quickly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area Support the serving staff by bussing tables and assisting with food handling as needed Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to relay special requests or dietary needs Maintain food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly, adhering to sanitation protocols Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests, team members, and kitchen staff Ability to handle food safely and responsibly, understanding basic food handling procedures Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of restaurant operations including serving, bussing, and food preparation enhances your effectiveness in this role Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a positive attitude and excellent guest service skills are essential Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly, and work efficiently in a busy setting Join us as a Food Runner/Host where your vibrant personality fuels exceptional guest experiences!
