Mystique - Restaurant Server

As a Restaurant Server, a typical day might include the following: Greeting guests joining us with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor Attending to guests and taking food and/or beverage orders Ensuring guests' orders are accurate and served in a timely manner Anticipating guest needs and fulfilling them Preparing guest checks and collecting accurate payment Resolving any service issues that arise with empathy and according to guidelines Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all company guidelines Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner Maintaining a clean and well stocked work environment Other duties as assigned This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications: Minimum 1 year restaurant serving experience in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage and/or club environment required. Fine dining experience preferred Experience with Asian cuisine a plus TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification is required Must be able to pass Big Night Entertainment Group's requirements in regards to legal background check You present a neat and professional appearance You are able to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workers You are able to demonstrate teamwork with other staff members You are able to accurately count money and provide necessary change You have an ability to build guest loyalty with an outgoing and friendly demeanor You have an excellent memory and ability to multitask Physical Demands / Work Environment / Hours The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
