Job Description
Beach Club Server Assistants are responsible for helping hosts and servers throughout the Beach Club restaurants in clearing glassware, silverware, and plates after use by members. The ideal candidate will be a people-centric person with a positive, friendly attitude and possess the ability to work well under pressure with both front and back of the house staff.
Schedule:
- Day and Evening Shift Availability
- Weekend availability required
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Require ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends
- Must be able to routinely lift up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to work in environment with temperatures exceeding 85 degrees
Core Duties:
This is intended to represent the key duties for this position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Serves water, bread and butter as guests are seated
- Transport food items and plates from the kitchen to correct tables
- Prepare dining areas before guests are seated and reset areas after dining, ensuring all items are cleaned, undamaged, and in good state of repair
- Maintain familiarity with the composition of all menu items, including items available at the bar.
- Clean designated areas, including opening and closing routines and following hygiene requirements.
- Pre-bussing, clearing, wiping table tops, chairs, and setting tables after members have left.
- Ensure service stations are adequately stocked.
- Perform other task as required by Director of Restaurants and Restaurant Manager.
