Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Provide menu recommendations, answer questions about food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain a clean and organized host stand and dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times or reservation details. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to deliver seamless service that exceeds guest expectations. Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest relations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment or hotel setting is advantageous. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.
