Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Brunch Server to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest service during weekend brunch hours, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm for food, hospitality, and guest relations will help create memorable moments for our patrons. Duties Greet guests promptly with a friendly attitude and guide them to their tables Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings and optimize seating flow Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining or brunch settings Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations Experience with upselling techniques and sales-driven mindset Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and mornings for brunch shifts Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management Join us at Gustazo Restaurant and Cafe where your passion for hospitality meets the vibrant spirit of Cuban culture!
