Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding dining experience for our guests through attentive service, menu knowledge, and effective communication. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling policies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and presentation. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing payments. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy shifts. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
