Job Description
Lead Server Goddard/Homestead - Every other weekend, up to 30hrs and $18 an hour. Worcester, MA Do you have a passion for hospitality, leadership, and creating exceptional experiences for others? Goddard/Homestead is seeking a Lead Server to join our Dining Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, leading by example, and ensuring residents receive outstanding service every day. As the Lead Server, you will help oversee dining room operations, support and train team members, and create a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents and guests. What You'll Do Lead and support servers during meal service Ensure exceptional customer service and resident satisfaction Train and mentor new and existing dining team members Assist with meal setup, service, tray delivery, and cleanup Ensure dining rooms are clean, organized, and ready for service Monitor food service quality and address issues as they arise Maintain food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards Help create a welcoming dining atmosphere, including proper table settings, menu displays, and overall presentation Work closely with the culinary and dining teams to ensure dependable meal service What We're Looking For ✔ Outstanding customer service and hospitality skills ✔ Strong leadership and communication abilities ✔ Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated ✔ Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment ✔ Interest in food service, nutrition, and health ✔ Previous restaurant, hospitality, senior living, or food service experience preferred ✔ High School Diploma or GED preferred Why Join Goddard/Homestead?
