Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery of food and drinks Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest engagement Serve food and beverages efficiently, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling and kitchen safety protocols Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit Assist with bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and supporting host/hostess duties during busy periods Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and balance registers at shift end Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest service excellence Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cash handling Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in high-volume settings Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery Embark on a rewarding career where your energy fuels memorable moments!
