Restaurant Food Server

Compensation:

$8.88 - $9.08 hourly

Responsibilities:

Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests

Qualifications:

We prefer some experience working in the food service industry Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) About Company Discover Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel, located on Baltimore's famed Inner Harbor.
