Restaurant Waiter

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system. Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their dining experience. Uphold health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques, is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. A positive attitude with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
