Job Overview Join our vibrant team as an Ice Cream Server, Cashier, and Ice Cream Maker! In this dynamic role, you'll be the face of our cheerful ice cream shop, creating delightful experiences for every customer. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service with a lively and engaging attitude Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings efficiently and accurately Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales quickly and accurately Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, counters, and seating spaces Assist with food preparation tasks such as scooping, topping, and packaging ice cream products Upsell featured flavors or specialty items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales Manage food safety protocols and ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times Support other team members with bussing tables or cleaning to ensure a welcoming environment Demonstrate effective time management during busy periods to serve customers promptly Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic demeanor Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented mindset Join us to be part of an exciting environment where your enthusiasm fuels memorable moments!
