White Rabbit Gastropub in Downtown Frederick Maryland is seeking friendly, knowledgeable, dedicated servers with a passion for hospitality to join our team. We are a small, locally owned restaurant specializing in craft beer, cocktails and our food items are made fresh in house daily! The White Rabbit, since 2017, is the first and only craft beer house and gastropub in our beloved city of Frederick, MD . You might've recently heard of us. Our Detroit-style pizza recently placed, alongside our sister restaurant Rad Pies, as the #1 Pan Pizza in the World at the 2022 International Pizza Expo.

Full-time, Part-time Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service. A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and with federal, state and local serving regulations. Ability to process cash handling and credit card in compliance with policies and procedures. Ability to operate a computer, calculator, and phone.

Responsibilities:

Guiding guests through menus, demonstrating thorough knowledge our food and beverages Demonstrates a positive attitude at all times, willing to help out where needed Take food and beverage orders and enter orders in POS system Monitor guest's dining experience and ensure they are satisfied with food and service Respond promptly and courteously to any requests Possess basic math skills and money handling to make proper change and process credit card payments Assists other team members in taking care of Guests, cleaning and maintaining tables, and running food Performs side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment Maintains a clean work area, dining room and bar during the shift Follows all requirements for the responsible service of alcohol Assisting in tasks to ensure a clean and safe restaurant Benefits offered: Health insurance Employee discounts Flexible schedules IRA with employee matching This is a place where you work with friends, connect with guests and feel great!
