Server Romanos Bar & Grill Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing personalized service in a fine dining or casual setting, ensuring guest satisfaction from order to completion. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales opportunities Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS or cash handling procedures Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during service Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations and address any special requests or concerns Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially in fine dining Knowledge of POS systems Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales opportunities Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards is desirable Experience with food handling, food preparation, and proper sanitation procedures preferred Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/host or bussing experience is advantageous Join our team to provide memorable dining experiences while honing your skills in a vibrant hospitality environment.
