Experience Hookah Marker

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Hookah Marker to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a strong background in customer service. As a Hookah Marker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality hookah products while ensuring an enjoyable experience for our guests. Your expertise in food handling and safety will be essential in maintaining our high standards. Understanding Your Pay You earn either $12/hour OR commission ($3/hookah + $2/refill), whichever is higher from hookah Made. Plus you keep 30% of all tips!

Tips:

You keep 30%, Servers get 30% Aim for 2+ hookahs per hour to maximize earnings Responsibilities Prepare and set up hookah stations for guests, ensuring all equipment is clean and functioning properly. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and making recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hookah area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Assist in the training of new staff members on hookah preparation and service techniques. Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of hookah supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their overall experience. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in roles related to banquet service, catering, or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Experience with hospitality services is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of guest needs and expectations. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
