At de Lazy Lizard, the Service Drink Assistant plays a key support role in delivering fast, accurate beverage service in a high-volume, fast-paced pirate restaurant environment. This position helps keep drinks moving from the bar to the guests, allowing servers to stay focused on their tables and ensuring guests receive their beverages quickly and correctly. The Service Drink Assistant is responsible for assisting servers by retrieving drinks from the bar, delivering beverages to the correct tables, and helping maintain organized and efficient service during busy shifts. This role works closely with servers to ensure beverages are delivered promptly and accurately while supporting overall floor operations. This position is responsible for garnishing all drinks and making sure all drinks are getting delivered to the table following the correct recipe and add straws and garnishes to the beverages. This position requires speed, awareness, and strong attention to detail. The Service Drink Assistant must verify drink tickets, match beverages to the correct tables, and communicate clearly with servers to prevent mistakes. They also help maintain clean service areas, assist with stocking cups and garnishes when needed, and support opening and closing duties to keep the restaurant running smoothly. A strong drink assistant keeps the bar from backing up, supports servers during rushes, and helps create a seamless guest experience from the first drink to the last. •Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment. Strong attention to detail to ensure drinks are delivered correctly. make fountain sodas, teas and waters Take care of mobile ordering tables checking IDs to verify everyone is 21+ Ability to move quickly and safely while carrying drinks or trays. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand and move for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry trays of drinks when needed. Positive attitude and willingness to support the team during busy service. Retrieve beverages from the bar and deliver them promptly to the correct tables. Verify drink tickets to ensure beverages match the order before delivering them to guests. Assist servers by running drinks during busy shifts to maintain fast and efficient service. Communicate with bartenders and servers to ensure drinks are delivered accurately and quickly. Maintain awareness of table numbers and dining room layout to prevent delivery mistakes.
