Server/Cashier

Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems and ensure timely delivery of orders. Manage cashiering duties by processing payments efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions with precision, and providing accurate change. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales, utilizing knowledge of the menu and specials. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods while ensuring proper food safety practices. Provide outstanding guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering positive guest relations. Support other restaurant operations such as opening/closing procedures, stock replenishment. Skills Proficiency with POS systems including Toast POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management. Strong knowledge of food service operations Excellent time management skills to handle multiple transactions efficiently during peak hours. Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction. Solid understanding of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations within the food industry. Previous experience in serving, cashiering, or host/hostess roles that showcase customer service excellence.
