Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and providing menu recommendations. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Present menus, take orders, and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Assist with training new staff members on service protocols and restaurant procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when needed.
