Duties Greet guests warmly, take drink and food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and serve with enthusiasm. Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and food to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Manage cash handling and sales transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing and receipts. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning bar areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food handling and basic food preparation when necessary to support kitchen staff during busy periods. Provide excellent guest relations by responding promptly to guest inquiries, accommodating special requests, and fostering a welcoming environment. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales transactions smoothly. Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food safety standards demonstrates your expertise in beverage service. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Experience with guest services roles such as host/hostess or bussing enhances your ability to deliver exceptional hospitality. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques are essential. Culinary or kitchen experience can be advantageous for understanding food preparation processes and supporting team efforts.
