Job Description
Job Overview Rigby Yard is seeking an experienced part-time server for Saturday and Sunday day shifts. Additional shifts may be available. What You'll Do Deliver a standout guest experience in a lively, hospitality-driven setting Work efficiently during busy weekend days. Collaborate with a tight-knit, professional team to ensure smooth operations Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and drive sales Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation Address guest questions, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including tables, stations, and dining spaces Qualifications Minimum of 1 years of serving experience required Familiarity with Toast POS and Toast handheld is a plus Self-motivated, reliable, and able to remain focused during service (phone-free on the floor) Dependable transportation to Portland's Old Port Basic Server training, including Steps of Service a plus, but we will train. Preferred Experience Knowledge of spirits, particularly whiskey and Scotch, is a strong plus About Us Rigby Yard is located at 50 Wharf Street in Portland and is a All Day concept with coffee/cafe M-F, restaurant operations and private events.
