Job Description
Bartender/server Wanigan Eatery and Pub seeks a Server to join our great team. We offer a full bar and serve indoors, patio and beer garden area. Must be dependable, friendly, have a positive attitude and able to multi task. Role pays an hourly wage and additionally all tips are split amongst team members. Flexible work schedule and meal discounts This role may be assigned to work solely behind bar preparing all drinks for serving staff for the entire shift. Other times, this role will work both behind the bar and in the dining area as a server taking meal and drink orders and serving drinks. Work shifts are typically 10a-3pm or 3pm
- 9pm.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Greet and follow up with guests to take orders, check on satisfaction of customer after being served, and provide recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining area. Perform open and closing tasks.
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Make sure all tabs are paid in full including cash cash transactions and operate the cash register/ POS system
- Monitor inventory levels and continually replenish stock
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Skills:
- Bartending experience preferred but not required. We will train.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for order accuracy
- Strong customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction.
