Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales, recommending popular dishes and beverages. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to sanitation and food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy hours. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for efficient order processing. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence. Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service periods. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing.
