Bell Bistro:
Bell Bistro is a new and exciting restaurant located in the heart of Birmingham. Bell provides guests with authentic modern American Cuisine and strive to ensure that every customer has the best experience while dining with us. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately to our guests, contributing to their overall satisfaction. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner. Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before serving. Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers regarding order status and guest needs. Help with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Familiarize yourself with menu items to assist guests with recommendations. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Experience in banquet service or large event settings is beneficial but not required. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
