Duties Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables, ensuring presentation quality and accuracy. Assist servers by delivering food promptly and efficiently, maintaining communication to meet guest expectations. Handle food with care, adhering to food safety and handling standards to maintain quality and hygiene. Support the cleaning and bussing of tables to keep the dining area tidy and inviting. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation timing and special requests. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy when needed. Assist in setting up banquet or large group events, ensuring timely delivery of all food items. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Familiarity with food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices. Experience working with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus. Background in hospitality, hotel service, or culinary settings enhances your ability to excel in this role. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are vital for providing excellent guest services. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience with banquet service, bussing, or kitchen support roles is advantageous.
