Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating assistance as a host or hostess when needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, TOAST ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and bar team Serve food, beverages, and cocktails promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including wine, spirits, and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Handle all sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and POS system operations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items like wine knowledge or cocktail options, ensuring a memorable dining experience Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS system - Toast Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transaction processing Experience with wine service, spirits knowledge, cocktail preparation, and food presentation techniques is desirable Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a hospitality setting Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences.
