Host/Server

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service while managing the flow of the dining experience. Your ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment will be essential to ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Manage seating arrangements and waitlists efficiently to optimize table turnover. Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly using Aloha POS or similar systems. Provide recommendations for menu items, upselling where appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing assistance as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Skills Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences. Previous food service experience is preferred, particularly in nightlife or nightclub environments. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Knowledge of food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health standards.
