As a Server Assistant, you play an essential role in creating a seamless dining experience for our guests. In this fast-paced position, you'll support servers and bartenders, maintain a polished dining room environment, and ensure every detail is in place to deliver the high standards of service our guests have come to expect. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to hospitality will contribute directly to the success of the team and the overall guest experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a great community of regular guests in a lively, elevated oyster bar and restaurant environment. Duties Support servers and bartenders throughout service to ensure efficient and attentive guest experiences Run food and beverages promptly and accurately while maintaining presentation standards Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and thoroughly between guest seatings Stock and replenish service stations, glassware, silverware, linens, and other front-of-house supplies Polish glassware, flatware, and service items to maintain the restaurant's standards of excellence Assist with bar support duties, including stocking beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, ice, and glassware Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room, bar area, service stations, and back-of-house support areas Assist with guest requests in a friendly, professional, and proactive manner Develop a strong understanding of menu offerings, oyster selections, seafood preparations, cocktails, wine, and other beverages to confidently support service Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Perform opening, running side work, and closing duties as assigned Safely lift, carry, and transport trays, bus tubs, kegs, cases, and other restaurant supplies as needed Skills Strong hospitality mindset with a genuine desire to provide exceptional guest service Previous restaurant, food runner, busser, barback, or hospitality experience preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization Ability to anticipate the needs of guests and team members Food, seafood, oyster, cocktail, and wine knowledge is a plus, with a willingness to learn required Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities during busy service periods Dependable, punctual, and motivated to contribute to a high-performing team Ability to stand for extended periods and perform heavy lifting throughout a shift Embark on a rewarding career where your hospitality talents shine!
