Substitute Food Service Staff Reports to:

Food Service Director Summary:

Main duties include setting up for the breakfast line, running a register, preparing/presenting the food for the grill station, dishwashing, and general cleaning. Responsible for ensuring that food is presented in a manner that is nutritious, safe, properly flavored, and in compliance with District, USDA, and accrediting agency standards for quality. Proper recordkeeping and computer meal accounting will be required.

Physical Demands:

The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally life and/or move up to 35 pounds such as books and teaching material. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.
