Positions:

Buffet Attendants and Bussers Pay Rate:

$20.00/hour

Shift Times:

Day shift; 10-12 hour shifts (5:30am to 7pm)

Experience Required:

Previous experience is a MUST in hospitality settings such as restaurants, hotels, or banquet services is highly desirable Proven skills in customer service, event planning, or event marketing Familiarity with contracts, catering arrangements, and banquet operations Experience with fundraising or guest services at large-scale events is a plus Strong negotiation skills and ability to upsell additional services or packages Excellent communication skills coupled with effective organizational and time management abilities Prior involvement in events management or hospitality roles that demonstrate attention to detail and professionalism Buffet Attendants•Maintain the cleanliness and replenishment of their designated buffet/station.

For example:

Replenish chafing dish with hot dogs, replenish the condiments packets, restocking of plates and silverware, ensure that messes are cleaned up promptly, etc. •Other tasks may include trips up and down stairs (not on a consistent basis, only in need of product) Busser•Maintain the cleanliness of client private suites.

For example:

clearing plates and cups from coffee tables, seated tables, etc. Maintaining garbage receptacles if needed (there is an onsite garbage team, however; we want to impress our clients and ensure we are paying attention to all touchpoints). Go above and beyond for our clients. Suite Attendants•Maintain the satisfaction of guests in specific client suites. Suite Clients will request to have a "personalized suite attendant" for 1 day or multiple dates of race weekend. The suite attendant should take guest requests and fulfill them.

For example:

taking guest drinks orders, taking guest food orders, and continuous cocktail service throughout the duration of the day. The suite attendant should also ensure that the area around the suite remains stocked, this may include the rolling beverage coolers that are in close proximation to the suite (these rolling coolers are filled with bottled water and Faygo products)
