In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your enthusiasm for hospitality and strong communication skills will help create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel valued and satisfied from the moment they arrive until their departure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, diner environment where your passion for food and guest relations can shine. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms Take accurate orders using POS systems like Toast, ensuring proper food handling and allergy considerations Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns efficiently, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through excellent customer service Clear tables, bus tables as needed, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods when necessary, demonstrating versatility in food industry roles Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Toast Pos Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with cashiering, cash handling, basic math skills for billing accuracy, and food preparation basics Familiarity with serving techniques including bussing tables and supporting host/hostess responsibilities when needed Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team that values hospitality excellence!
