Host/Server

• Overview:

• We are seeking a dedicated Server/Host to join our team for both Evening services within our restaurant.

• Duties:

• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately
• Deliver orders to tables promptly and ensure accuracy
• Provide menu recommendations and answer customer inquiries
• Handle cash and credit card transactions using POS systems or cash registers
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

• Experience:

• Host experience
• Prior experience in food handling and sanitation practices
• Proficiency in POS systems and cash register operations
• Strong math skills for handling payments and making change
• Hospitality mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of basic math for order accuracy
• Familiarity with bussing tables and maintaining dining area cleanliness
• Experience with Toast POS system is a plus
• Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
