Job Description

Job Overview We are on the lookout for a friendly, energetic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you'll be the face of our establishment, creating memorable dining experiences by providing attentive and personalized service. Your role is essential in ensuring guests feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied from the moment they walk in until their last bite. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and hospitality, eager to connect with guests, and comfortable working in a lively environment that values teamwork and professionalism. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, offering recommendations and answering questions about menu items. Take accurate orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are noted. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor throughout the guest experience. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while managing open tabs via systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and sanitation protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders, especially during busy hours or events like nightlife or fine dining nights. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with an ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs effectively. Good basic math skills for cashiering, food costing, and transaction management. Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining a positive attitude.
