The Join our dynamic team as a Server, where you'll play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests! You'll be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional service while showcasing your culinary knowledge and passion for hospitality. What you'll do Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming guests and ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring prompt and efficient service. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales, leveraging your knowledge of fine dining offerings. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to create an inviting atmosphere for guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling responsibilities. Engage with guests to build rapport and enhance guest relations, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly. Support host/host duties as needed, ensuring smooth seating arrangements during busy periods. Basic qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, showcasing your familiarity with the industry. Preferred qualifications Culinary experience or kitchen experience that enhances your understanding of food preparation and presentation. Proficiency in using OpenTable for reservations management is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety.
