Job Description

Madden's is an award-winning resort, located on more than 1,000 acres, that anticipates the wishes and desires of vacationers and offers them fantastic golf, upscale dining, lakeside spa, tennis, activity programs for children, biking, shopping, and art gallery with painting classes and almost every kind of on-the-water recreation possible in Minnesota, including fishing. Madden's has distinguished itself by an emphasis on gracious hospitality, quality, and diversity. Our philosophy is simply to provide the best that Minnesota has to offer. Madden's is currently seeking seasonal Food Runners . Assures that all material used by server is clean and ready for daily operation. Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used. Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course. Clears and resets tables when guests leave, to include but not limited to: changes tablecloth, brushes chairs, places chairs at table, replaces silverware and glassware, and replaces napkins. Assists the server when needed. Assists the servers by checking food tickets and delivering food to tables. Keeps workstations well stocked of items and ingredients. Clean workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties required.
Skills and Abilities:
Great decision-making skills. Must be able to work alongside other people and independently. The Ability to multi-task. Time management.
Education/Experience:
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in dining outlets, sometimes outside.
Physical Demands:
Primarily standing or walking for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk and hear. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift trays of food/drinks sometimes repeatedly.
Expected Hours of Work:
Variable Schedule with nights, weekends and holidays required.
