Valora Orono - Culinary Assistant/Server Lifespark paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) United States, Minnesota, Long Lake May 28, 2026 Description Valora Orono, a new Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our growing team! Valora Orono is nestled in the pristine Orono community, just minutes from the charm of downtown Wayzata, Lake Minnetonka, and Long Lake. Our community is conveniently located on Kelley Parkway in Orono. We are just a short drive from downtown Wayzata and Long Lake, easily accessible from
US-12 / I-394.
We help seniors Age Magnificently in our 72- unit apartment-style community providing Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services. Join our team today!
Shifts Available:
Part Time (4-7pm)
Wage:
$15.50-$20.50 per hour Are you compassionate towards others? Are you passionate about enriching the lives of others? If so, we want you to join our team and help seniors Age Magnificently! Our Culinary Assistants/Servers becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while creating an environment that promotes resident/resident well-being.
Duties include:
Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food. Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable. Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately. Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes. Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience in a senior living setting is preferred. Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees. Must possess advanced computer skills.
