Part time Pay rate: $16.37 per hour plus tips Position Summary The FOH Team Member plays an important role in creating a smooth, welcoming, and efficient guest experience. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, running food accurately and promptly, assisting with table maintenance, and supporting the service team throughout each shift. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work with urgency while maintaining a positive, hospitable attitude in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Arrive on time and in proper uniform, ready to support service. Greet and engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and hospitable manner, directing them where and how to order. Thorough understanding of the food and beverage menu, able to answer questions and make suggestions, working knowledge of allergies. Keep the dining room clean and guest-ready, addressing spills or messes promptly. Assist with takeout and delivery orders, taking orders over the phone, ensuring orders are completed correctly and in a timely manner. Run food from the pass to the correct table number. Provide confident, accurate tableside descriptions of dishes when presenting food. Communicate clearly and work effectively with BOH, including but not limited to communicating inventory needs and restocking menu items. Follow the principle of full hands out, full hands in at all times. Polish glassware and flatware to restaurant standards. Routinely change sanitizer buckets, rags, and crumbers as needed. Complete assigned weekly cleaning and organization responsibilities. Bring used dishes to the dish station and unload them in an organized manner. Clear, sanitize and reset tables when guests leave. Ensure water, silverware, napkins are stocked. Assist with polishing, folding boxes, and restocking stations as needed. Complete opening and closing checklists Skills & Qualifications Ability to remain calm, clear, and communicative in high-pressure situations. Strong ability to multitask and stay organized. Willingness and ability to follow direction and adapt as service needs change. Confidence and professionalism when interacting with guests. Accurate knowledge of table numbering throughout the restaurant. Commitment to hospitality values and teamwork. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry, and maneuver trays, dishes, and glassware. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions during service.
