In this role, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements effectively Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy nights or special events Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods through effective time management skills Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction Familiarity with food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices Knowledge of reservation platforms like OpenTable for efficient guest seating management Basic math skills for accurate billing, check splitting, and cash handling Previous experience in host/hostess roles or serving positions preferred but not required Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards Join our team where your passion for hospitality meets a lively atmosphere!
