As a Server, you are a key part of delivering that mission by providing exceptional service through attentiveness, accuracy, and genuine hospitality. Servers are responsible for guiding guests through their dining experience, from the initial greeting to the final farewell, while working closely with the front-of-house team.
Key Accountabilities:
Hospitality First
  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, setting a positive tone for their dining experience. Menu Knowledge
  • Guide guests through food and beverage options, provide thoughtful recommendations, and answer questions confidently. Accuracy & Timing
  • Take orders and enter them in the POS (Toast) with precision, ensuring proper course pacing. Team Coordination
  • Collaborate with food runners, bartenders, and kitchen staff to deliver timely, accurate orders. Guest Experience
  • Monitor tables proactively, refill drinks, respond quickly to requests, and resolve concerns with care. Clean & Organized Service
  • Clear plates, reset tables, and maintain a polished, orderly section throughout the shift. Closing Excellence
  • Process payments using Q39 procedures, thank guests sincerely, and complete end-of-shift duties. Preparedness
  • Stock, set, and maintain wait stations and dining areas at the start and end of each shift. Collaboration
  • Support hosts, bussers, and FOH/BOH teammates to ensure smooth, seamless service. Standards Driven
  • Uphold all service, cleanliness, and closing procedures in line with Q39 standards.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar systems. Strong communication skills and a guest-first mindset. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods (4-5 hours per shift). Able to lift up to 25 pounds. Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude. Basic knowledge of food safety and service procedures.
