Job Description
Job Summary Join our friendly breakfast and lunch team as a Server and help create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest! In this fast paced daytime role, you'll take orders, serve food and beverages, provide excellent customer service, and help maintain a clean and organized dining area. We're looking for someone dependable, energetic, and team-oriented who enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy environment. This paid position offers opportunities for growth and advancement based on performance, allowing motivated team members to increase their earnings and responsibilities over time while working daytime hours from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a friendly attitude and provide attentive, upbeat service throughout their visit. Take food and drink orders accurately while keeping communication smooth with the kitchen team. Serve fresh meals and beverages quickly while maintaining high cleanliness and food safety standards. Recommend daily specials and popular menu items to create a great guest experience Handle payments and transactions accurately and professionally. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. Assist with seating and guest flow to keep service running efficiently during busy hours. Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude. Work alongside a supportive team in a fast-paced, energetic breakfast and lunch environment. Complete side work and closing duties carefully and efficiently to help set the team up for success each day. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Experience in upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences and sales performance. Basic kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is beneficial but not required. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays throughout scheduled shifts.
