  • Part-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and taking their orders accurately. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable to process transactions efficiently. Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food handling meets safety and sanitation standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and service stations through regular bussing and sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes. Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, including fine dining or nightclub environments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is a plus. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in sanitation.
