Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server and become a vital part of creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be the friendly face that guides guests through their culinary journey, ensuring exceptional service, timely food delivery, and a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Shift4 POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including daily specials, ingredients, and food safety procedures to answer guest questions confidently. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and provide correct change or receipts. Support food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up tables or cleaning work areas to ensure a smooth operation. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and Shift4. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations to ensure guest safety at all times. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing. Experience with food industry terminology related to serving, food preparation, bussing, host/hostess duties, and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
