Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling items to enhance their experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring timely delivery Serve drinks and food efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area to ensure a sanitary environment Use OpenTable or other reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently during busy hours Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols is essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Host/hostess experience or bartending background is a plus but not required Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing are necessary Join our team as a Bistro Bar Server and bring your passion for hospitality to life!
