About the
Role:
As a Food Server at Sandbar Grill, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that all customer needs are met promptly and efficiently. You will be the face of our establishment, creating a welcoming atmosphere and fostering positive relationships with patrons. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, contributing to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and the success of our business.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a food service or customer service role. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Food Handler's Certification/ Safe Serve Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems. Knowledge of food and beverage pairings.
Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and drinks to customers, ensuring timely delivery. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Skills:
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and ensuring their needs are met. Attention to detail is crucial when taking orders and serving food to guarantee accuracy and satisfaction. Time management skills will help you efficiently juggle multiple tables and tasks during busy shifts. A friendly and approachable demeanor will enhance the dining experience for customers, encouraging repeat visits. Additionally, familiarity with food safety practices will ensure a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and patrons.
