Summary As a Server at IHOP, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every customer leaves with a smile, enjoying their meal in a welcoming atmosphere. Join us in spreading joy and making every moment matter! Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders while providing menu recommendations. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables, maintaining high standards of service. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction. Upsell additional menu items to enhance the guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong guest relations skills with a passion for providing excellent service. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
