The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy of orders. Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation. Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times. Communicate effectively with team members regarding order status and guest requests. Assist in setting up for banquets or special events as needed. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Background in culinary arts, hospitality, or guest services will be advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are necessary for success in this role.
