QUALIFICATIONS

Must be motivated to provide high quality work while working with residents in a high-end senior living community. Must be able to get along with co-workers and interact positively with residents. Must be able to take and follow directions. Must be able to stand on feet for the extent of the shift and work assignment. Must be able to lift and carry heavy items. Must be able to speak and understand English.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for the overall care and satisfaction of each resident/guest during meal periods. This is accomplished by providing friendly, expedient service, being courteous and attentive, and completing assignments during the post-meal times .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Set-up all stations for meal; water, iced tea, coffee, lemons, creamers, ice, glasses, coffee cups and saucers, etc. Break down and re-stock Cut lemons for iced tea and garnish Send dirty linen and retrieve clean linen from laundry, store on proper shelf in cabinets Rack and roll silverware, roll back-up for next meal Fold napkins as needed Buss and breakdown trays as needed Accurately take meal and beverage orders and serve in a timely fashion Know and use proper etiquette for table service and removal Maintain own section with proper levels of salt, pepper, and sugar on tables Provide excellent customer service to residents and their guests Searstone provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
