Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism Present menus, explain daily specials, and recommend wine or beverage pairings to enhance the dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining sanitation standards throughout service Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive relationships to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business Requirements Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant service, with a strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Basic math skills for bill calculation, cash handling, and transaction accuracy Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving, host/hostess duties, bussing, or kitchen support is highly desirable Knowledge of culinary terminology and experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively with colleagues Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for hospitality meets your dedication to delivering exceptional dining moments.
