Ice Cream Server/Cashier 21+

Job Summary Join our vibrant team as an Ice Cream Server and Cashier, where you'll be the face of a fun, fast-paced food service environment dedicated to delivering delightful treats and exceptional customer experiences. As a key team member, you'll handle food preparation, cashiering, and customer service duties while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. This position is open to applicants aged 21 and over, offering a dynamic work environment with plenty of opportunities to develop your skills in the food industry. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at the counter or seating area Prepare and serve ice cream, desserts, and other menu items following established recipes and food safety guidelines Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision Upsell products by recommending popular flavors or add-ons to enhance the customer experience Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with sanitation standards Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and restocking supplies during shifts to ensure smooth operations Requirements Must be 21 years or older to comply with alcohol and beverage regulations (if applicable) Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is highly preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Experience in culinary tasks or kitchen environments is a plus but not required Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as bending or lifting moderate weights Join us to become part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable moments through delicious treats!
